Guide to Reducing Lag

Here are some tips on what to do to reduce lag while playing Feralheart. 'Cause, y'know, no one likes lag.

1. Turn off Water Reflection

While playing in-game, hit the button 'Esc'. Hit 'Options' and go to the second tab, 'Video'. Scroll down until you find 'Water Reflection', and un-tick the box. This may take away from the beauty and such of the maps, but it helps decrease lag significantly.

2. Turn View Distance Down

Go to the options menu, using the steps above. Go to the 'Video' tab and find 'View Distance'. Click and hold the button there and pull it to the left until it says '0'.

3. Change your Rendering System

There are two ways to do this. The first way is to go to your options menu and find 'Rendering Subsystem' under the 'Video' tab. Change it to the unselected system and restart the game. You can also go to your Feralheart folder and find a file marked 'ogre.cfg'. Open it with notepad and change the subsystem to the other.

4. Close out of any other applications

Save your work in any other windows and close out of them. Simple as that!
